Monday, I met with Dr. Millard and Kendra in preparation for the board meeting. Tuesday morning we had our second board meeting which went great. Thursday, I met with Kendra to work on the bylaws and the minutes from the board meeting and with Chris to talk about some different things about the organization. I feel like this week moved along well and I feel like we are on track with the board and board meetings, although I am worried that we might not get as involved with the five main organizations as we wanted to this semester but we will see.
The greatest joy this week was the success of the board meeting. At the meeting, the student staff positions were elected for the next year and Dwight, Chris, Heather, and myself were elected into student staff positions. The greatest challenge was getting e-mails back from people and getting ready for the board meeting at the last minute.
A leadership lesson I learned this week is that being flexible is a good thing. Kendra and I had print-outs for the meeting and had to reprint them several times. We had to do this because people kept e-mailing us things to add to them at the last minute.
Question: Has anyone experienced something totally unexpected in this whole experience? (either good or bad)

not sure where to begin. I started out just wanting an academic(terrible word for what I really mean) class added. But I've been doing research on res life programs, ministry programs, chapel, whole curriculum structures, and more along with the individual classes. My project has went places that I never imagined. I'm not sure yet whether that's a good thing or not, but it was definitely unexpected.
