My biggest joy is almost being done with endless hours of browsing through webpages. I can start talking to real people next week. My biggest challenge is finishing strong. As I get close, I've noticed a tendency to want to rush and I've had to slow down and make sure that I do things right to the very end.
A leadership lesson I learned this week is that you can't get sloppy in the end stages. It's tempting to rush through and just get things done, but it won't benefit anyone.
My question this week: Is anyone else feeling that the implementing phase is still far off?
I guess I have gotten to see some progress in ours, but I feel the same way, in a kind of way. Our project just seems so far off from actually making it part of IWU Leadership department and when I think of all the datails and what a successful organization would look like. I feel like we are far off, but I can see how this would be frustrating for you!
