Ben's Final Blog

This week has been a lot less stressful for me when I found out that everything was due in two weeks instead of one. At the beginning of the week I foresaw many late nights working to complete this project. Now I can relax a bit, and span out the time that is needed to complete this project. I have almost completed the rough draft of the proposal. It's coming along very nicely. The more I work on it the more ideas come into view for how to make it better. I hope to have it completely finished by Monday, and then possibly reviewed by Dr. Millard on Tuesday. Once it's reviewed I'm sure that I'll have some revising to do, but I will be closer to the light at the end of the tunnel.

There were two greatest joys for me this week. The first one was hearing that the project isn't due till later. That took off a lot of stress on my part. The second joy was to see the proposal starting to form and take it's shape. The biggest challenge is dealing with senioritis. It's down to the last week, and it's tough to be motivated at times.

The leadership lessen I learned is that sometimes you just have to keep working at projects even when they don't look like they are taking shape. The more you work on them the more they will eventually start to form and take shape.

The question of the week: Is anyone excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel?
