This was a very productive week for my project. I finally got an interview in with the Red Cross staff. I gained some very helpful information regarding the topics that I have been conducting research on. They told me some information that will help me in my future progress. It will help me to gain some directions in what I need to research. I also gained information on an idea for implementing the idea to the board of directors.
The greatest joy for me this week was getting the interview with the staff. It is something that I have been needing to do for awhile. It's good to see the baby steps being completed. The greatest challenge was not having the time to work on my project this week. I had a lot of other homework this week, and it was challenging to find the time to work.
The leadership lesson that I learned was that getting first hand sources are very helpful. I think that talking to people is a very valuable resource. As leaders we need to figure out the best ways to tap into information.
I was wondering how your every body's implementation phase is going?
